Adventure:Equip

Adventure: Equip is how we seek to dig in further to learning and practicing what we believe. These classes aim to prioritize understanding the Word, our theological beliefs, and spiritual practices. Our aim is not just to understand more, but study together and practice alongside one another so that our lives can be transformed. From those just beginning their adventure with Jesus to those that have traveled far with Him, there is a place for you here as we seek to be more like Jesus and become a stronger Biblical community.

Cairn: Guiding the Way 
(Conference Room)
A Cairn is a pile of stones made as a guide to mark or help remember the way. People will often add stones to existing cairns. Together, our class will explore and build on the previous week's sermon, seeking to find the way scripture is leading us and applying it to our lives. Come and walk with us.

5.1 Hear, Listen & Respond
(Room 104)
We are taking a dive into a study about Experiencing God.  As you dig into this study together you will find you are being remade, reoriented, restored by your Creator, reborn in relationship.  This class is for those as young as 6th grade through all ages & seasons of adults.  Hope to see you there!

The Words of Jesus
(Worship Center Classroom)
What did Jesus say?  What did He teach?  How did He respond to questions asked of Him?  Join us in this Adventure:Equip discussion as we walk through the book of Matthew, focusing on the words of Christ.  This class will not be merely lecture-format but more discussion-oriented, with a focus on not simply hearing the words of our Lord but putting them into practice in our daily lives.

Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools: An Invitation to the  Wonder and Mystery of Prayer
(Room 101)
We'll be digging into more Prayer in this class.  The book Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools is an invitation into the wonder of prayer.  It addresses common roadblocks to prayer and gives us the confidence to come to God just as we are.  It is full of tools to help us discover and practice different prayer postures, embrace wonder of prayer in the everyday, and open further the line of communication we have with our Creator.  Come join us!

Adventure:Equip KIDS
(Downstairs in Adventurers Classroom)
Adventure:Equip Kids is an extra opportunity for kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other while their parents dig deeper in Adventure:Equip classes. Open to kids preschool aged-5th grade whose parents/guardians are in Adventure:Equip classes.

If you have a baby or toddler and would like to attend an Adventure:Equip class and need assistance in care, please contact Callie ahead of time.

Kids in 5th grade and below are also welcome to join their parents/guardians in Adventure:Equip classes as appropriate. If you aren’t sure what would be the best place for your child, please let Callie know and she would be happy to discuss the options with you.
