Join us for VBS at Adventure of Faith!

What is VBS?
VBS (Vacation Bible School) is a fun-filled time for kids to learn more about who God is. We do this by bringing the Bible to life with skits, hands-on activities, high-energy games, interesting experiments, up beat songs, and cool crafts!
When is it?
Friday, July 21st & Saturday, July 22nd 9:00am-12:00pm. Sunday, July 23rd 10:00am-12:00pm
All families are invited to join us for day 3 of VBS! This will be a special Sunday VBS takeover where people of all ages will get to experience the fun of VBS, see our kids lead us in worship, and participate in activities and treats at the playground.
Who is this for?
Kids ages 4 years old-5th grade (2023-2024 school year).
Children must be potty trained please
Where will this be?
Days 1 and 2 will be held in the Friendship Center at Adventure of Faith.
Day 3 will start in the Worship Center at Adventure, then move outside to the playground.
How much does it cost?

Interested in helping?
Why should I help?
Our purpose for hosting VBS is to reach the unchurched, teach basic and approachable scripture to those who might not hear it elsewhere, create a natural entry point for people to get connected to our church, allow for leadership opportunities for those of all ages, celebrate spiritual gifts in others, and many more! We cannot do this without the help of our Adventure church family!
What can I do?
Prayerfully consider who to invite to VBS. If you have kids, include them in this process. Our goal is for VBS guests to have a familiar face to connect with. Think of those in your mission field who don’t have a church to call home. Consider how you can assist and potentially remove any barriers (offer to help with transportation, consider volunteering so that parents know an adult in the building, assist them with registering). Connect with that family for a personal invitation (i.e. not a big Facebook blast to your newsfeed). Be in prayer for our VBS team.
What if I want to volunteer, but have little kids who can't attend VBS?
If you have kids under the age of 4 and childcare is a barrier to your ability to volunteer at VBS, we will have childcare available for you here at the church. Please let us know if this is a need when you fill out the VBS.
Can I help with preparations, even if I cannot be there to volunteer during VBS?
Absolutely! There is a lot of planning and preparation that goes into hosting VBS. We would love your help! Please contact Callie and Tara!
What else do I need to know?
All VBS volunteers (ages 18 and older) who will be helping the days of the event must complete a background check form through Adventure of Faith. These can be obtained at the Welcome Center any time that the church is open. VBS Volunteers will also meet on Wednesday, July 19th at 5:30pm in the Friendship Center.
